I have a love for encouraging and inspiring students to not only work hard in their studies but to also find what catches their curiosity. When a student takes an interest in a subject or topic they are far more likely to perform better at that subject in their schoolwork. Whether it’s a peculiarity in a virus that could lead to research in a new direction to find a cure or a need that isn’t currently being addressed by the business world that inspires entrepreneurial endeavors, I hope to find what excites your students! As I am also a performer, I understand well the skills needed to peak a students interest and maintain it and to play the role of motivational speaker from time to time in order to inspire students who are really struggling.
As a member of four honor societies in high school, I tutored many of my peers in various subjects and every one of them showed significant improvement. If the manner in which a teacher has explained a subject to a student isn’t translating to them, then no problem! I am flexible in my approach and will do everything I can to help your student reach the level of understanding that propels them to success!
I have taken great interest in a multitude of subjects during my school years, earning me the title National AP Scholar for my excellent scores in AP English Literature & Composition, AP English Language & Composition, AP U.S. History, AP Calculus AB, AP World History, AP Psychology, AP U.S. Government & Politics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics. I also scored in the top 2% nationally on the SAT with a 750 in Reading and 740 in Math as well as a high score on the optional writing portion of the exam.
I look forward to meeting your wonderful students!
