Jessica
Hi! I’m Jess, and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Richmond in December 2018 with a BA in International Studies and minors in Economics and Latin American and Iberian Studies. During my time in college, I was able to study and work in Spain and Brazil, respectively.
I graduated a semester earlier than expected, and I spent nine months working almost full-time for a small private test prep company in Richmond, tutoring students one-on-one for the ACT and SAT exams. During this time, I also worked for a small company doing curriculum development in English Language Arts.
In July 2019 I moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia to teach at an international school. Unfortunately, the current situation with COVID-19 brought me back home to Minneapolis, MN in April. However, I am excited for the opportunity to continue teaching! I have in-depth knowledge on standardized tests, English, Math, and Spanish. I have experience working with a wide variety of students, both online and in person. I have a very adaptable teaching style and like to build very strong relationships with my students, so I can tailor our lessons to their individual needs.
