Julio
I have been tutoring both formally and informally for over 5 years, working with students and adults from different walks of life. I have experience working with students as young as 5 years old and adults looking to continue pursuing their dreams after some hardships. I am particularly fond of mathematical subjects and life sciences, as shown in my degrees in Liberal Arts: Natural Sciences and Mathematics and my Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences.
When tutoring, I believe that the maintaining a positive environment is key, as well as listening to the needs of the student. I am versatile, friendly, resourceful, and very patient. I am able to pinpoint areas that need to be strengthened and come up with a plan to ensure wonderful results. With my knowledge and the right tutoring schedule I am confident that I will be an amazing asset.
I also have experience in public relations and have amassed over 50 hours of public speaking throughout my years on my high school Academic Decathlon team. One of the best experiences that I have had was that of a student. Throughout my academic career at the University of California-Los Angeles. I have picked up various skills as well as tips and tricks to acing those tough classes.

Hobbies
I love traveling and trying new food spots in the community. I also love watching movies and listening to music from all genres and time periods. If I have some spare time I love playing one of my favorite games of all time, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch! It is important to give yourself some guilt-free leisure time, even if it is not academic in nature!
