Conner
Last year I received my bachelor’s in chemical engineering. In undergrad, I spent a year working on a research project called Adaptive Significance of Selfing in a Hermaphroditic Fish under biology professor, Dr. Ryan Early. This research shed light on the mechanisms behind population genetics and evolution. Additionally, I shadowed several doctors as a part of the company, Global Medical Brigades. As treasurer, I helped organize free medical clinics in rural Panama where we treated hundreds of locals who didn’t have healthcare. I really connect with hands-on learning experiences and that happens to be the way I prefer to teach as well.
During my tenure at the University of Alabama, I tutored grades K-6 in all subjects as part of a summer program. I also tutored organic chemistry on the collegiate level. Most recently, I’ve had experience tutoring high school students in AP calculus, AP physics, and some test prep for the PSAT. I tutor high school and college level math and science courses, including AP, such as biology, chemistry, psychology, and differential equations, just to name a few. University of Michigan
