Niki
Hey there! I’m Niki, a current graduate student researcher at UC San Diego. I have experience tutoring SAT, ACT, and ISEE prep, as well as teaching undergraduate Biochemistry at UCSD. My diversified coursework qualifies me to tutor not only science and math, but also essay writing, college preparation, and English.
I consider myself easygoing, patient, and goal-oriented. My approach to tutoring is simple: set a goal, and make a plan with you to reach it. I love to use resources such as videos, flashcards, and interactive websites to have students employ different learning styles while they study. It is important to me for my students to feel comfortable around me, so we can work through any questions or concerns together. Having been a mentor in various aspects of my life, I thrive as an advice-giver and shoulder to lean on.
My Biology degree and minors in Psychology and Philosophy have shaped my outlook on the power of learning and investing in your future through education. I believe that the right combination of preparation, diligence, and enthusiasm can propel any student to reach their goals. Let me help you stay ahead, organized, and excited!
