Hi, my name is Niyatha, I absolutely love teaching and am so excited to help you achieve your goals. I have been in your position before- feeling stuck and stressed, but I promise that with some teamwork we can get you to where you need to be! My tutoring philosophy revolves around personalization, organization, and hard work and I know that with a well defined plan you can walk into your exams and applications with confidence!

I have experience teaching in high school classrooms, and also teach speech and debate courses to a small group of students ranging from 6th-9th grade.

Outside of my teaching experiences, I have excelled academically, in leadership roles, and have found through the process that I love helping other students achieve the same things.

I particularly developed an interest in science subjects and centered my educational experience at UC Berkeley around this. As a pre-health student, I discovered that different subjects require different studying strategies that I will incorporate into your tutoring sessions.

My SAT scores were Math: 720, Verbal: 710, and Writing: 680. I’ve also taken the DAT and been accepted to dental schools! On the DAT I scored a 21 Academic Average and 21 Total Science: 22 Perceptual Ability, 24 General Chemistry, 21 Organic Chemistry, 23 Reading Comprehension, 19 Biology, 18 Math. I believe that my successful test taking experiences can help you with any subject you need help with.
