Hi! My name is Vonny, and I recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Physiological Science and a minor in Asian Languages. I have teaching experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and through tutoring for a private company. While most of my tutoring experience is in math and science, I have also tutored students in other subjects such as reading, writing, and language arts.

My passion for teaching stemmed from my love for learning. As a tutor, I hope not only to help my students master difficult concepts, but also to refine their study habits for long-term academic success. While I want to help my students ace their exams and classes, I am also interested in getting to know my students personally. I hope to learn about their passions and to help them achieve their long-term goals.

As a student, I have had my fair share of academic struggles and have worked with numerous tutors. However, my personal academic journey has only improved my ability as a tutor to empathize with students and their academic challenges. I have realized the importance of persistence and resilience in the face of these challenges, and I hope to instill this mindset in the students I work with.
