Zachary
Hello! My name is Zachary and I am a recent UCSD graduate with a major in History and a minor in Anthropology. Throughout my college experience my major was often not a common one and numerous students from varying fields of study would informally ask me to help them understand historical subject matter. From these various informal settings I saw firsthand the benefits of tutoring both in its informal and formal situations.
However, I did not begin my higher education journey at UCSD, I was first a student as San Diego Mesa College where I achieved my Associates Degree in History while concurrently working at United Parcel Service for 5 years and volunteering at the San Diego Museum of Man for more than 200 recorded hours of service. I believe these various life experiences allows me to both empathize and connect to a wide variety of individuals from all walks of life.
Lastly, although the vast majority of my tutoring experience has been in informal settings I have been trained through San Diego Mesa College’s tutor program and I look forward to using a combination of my informal experience and formal training to help anyone achieve their education goals!
