ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam)

Breakdown
The exam is a three-tier exam and is administered on a computer or on paper. The exam is scored on a 760-940 scale and also as a 1-99 percentile score.
The Lower Level is for grades 4 and 5. The Middle Level is for grades 6 and 7. The Upper Level is for grades 8-11.
The Upper Level Exam
The Verbal Reasoning section is a 20-minute, 40 question section.
The Quantitative Reasoning section is a 35-minute, 37 question section.
The Reading Comprehension section is a 35-minute, 36 question section.
The Math Achievement section is a 40-minute, 47 question section.
The Essay Section is a 30-minute, 1 essay section.
Totaling 160 questions and around 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes) of examination time.
