What is the SSAT?
The exam is scored on a 300-600 scale and is administered on paper.
Breakdown:
The Lower Level Exam (Currently in grades 3-4 applying for admission to grades 4 and 5)
The Quantitative section is a 30-minute, 30 question section.
The Verbal section is a 20-minute, 25 question section.
The Reading section is a 30-minute, 28 question section.
The Essay section is a 15-minute, 1 essay section.
Totaling 89 questions and around 85 minutes (1 hour and 15 minutes) of examination time.
